Abstract

|
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the effectiveness of Korean Medicine treatment on condyloma of anus and vulva.
Methods: Three patients were treated with herbal medicine, moxibustion, acupuncture and pharmaco-acupuncture. Two of them were prescribed self designed herbal formula and one of them was prescribed pill which is made of Equisetum arvense. Photographs of lesions were used to evaluate the changes in symptoms.
Results: All three patients' lesions were disappeared after the treatment and maintained until the last follow up day. The period without recurrence was different in each case: about 1month, 4months, and 6months, respectively.
Conclusions: This study shows that Korean Medicine was effective to treat conydloma of both anus and vulva.
